The Steps for How to Make the Easy Angel Crafts: Paper Star Angel Ornament:

Print both pages of the Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel Ornament pattern page. It makes it easier if you can print the pattern on the paper you plan to use for the project. Regular 8 1/2 x 11-inch printer paper (20-pound) works just fine but 24-pound is better. It has more stability.

Copy the five star patterns and the one set of wings pattern to the paper for the Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament.

Cut around the outer edges of each shape.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 2 cut out shapes

Fold each star shape along the straight lines. The folds should cross at the center of the star shape.

Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 3 fold on lines

Turn the star over such that the marked lines are on the bottom.  Reverse the folds to form the star.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 4 reverse fold

Fold each of the five stars the same way. Fold the wings shape across the small area.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 5 fold all stars

Use a pin or the tip of the scissors to make a small hole in the center of each star. The hole should be just large enough for the wire inside the chenille to pass through. The hole should be small enough for the stars to not slide easily on the chenille wrapping the wire. The chenille should hold the stars apart.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 6 make small hole in center

The wings fit across one of the folds in the small star. Position the wings on the star to see where the glue should be placed.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 7 glue wings on small star

Apply the glue and press the wings to the small star until the glue holds.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 8 add wings

Make a loop in one end of the chenille wire. This will be under the bottom of the largest star. The loop will prevent you from inadvertently pushing the bottom star off the chenille wire.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 9 bend one end of chenille wire

Stage the pieces of the Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament. The wooden doll head is at the top and each of the stars increase in size with the largest at the bottom.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 10 stage components

Starting underneath the largest star, push the chenille wire through the small center hole in each of the stars then through the hole in the wooden doll head. Space the paper stars from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches apart as you add them to the chenille wire.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 11 add stars to wire

Form a loop in the chenille wire above the wooden doll head for the Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament's halo.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 12 make halo

Cut the two pieces of ribbon, one 10 inches and one 20 inches long. This Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament used golden curling ribbon.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 13 cut ribbon

Fold the shorter ribbon in half. Tie a knot in the ends to form a loop.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 14 make ribbon loop

Thread the longer ribbon through the loop behind the wooden doll head. Bring the ribbon ends around chenille wire at the neck of the Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament. Make sure the ends are even before tying a simple knot in the ribbon below the paper star angel's chin.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 15 tie ribbon around neck

Curl the ribbon and hang the simple yet pretty Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament.

Easy Angel Crafts Paper-Star-Angel-Ornament-Pattern Step 16 curl ribbon

In our examples of the Easy Angel Crafts Paper Star Angel ornament, we have a white robed angel with white chenille wire and white curling ribbon. On the right is a blue robed angel with a blue chenille wire and white curling ribbon.
