Thread the needle and add a knot in one end of the thread.
Place the two sheer ribbons one on top of the other.

Sew with the running stitches the length of the two ribbons.
At roughly 1/4-inch from the end, knot and trim the thread.
Begin sewing the second row of stitches parallel to the first.
There should be a 1/4-inch space between the two rows.
Within 1/4-inch from the end, knot and trim the thread.
Trim the ends of the ribbon being careful not to cut the knots on the ends of the stitches.
Bend 1/4-inch on one end of the chenille wire and fold it back on itself.
Push the bent end of the chenille wire through the channel in the two sheer ribbons.
Gather all of the ribbon into the middle of the chenille wire.
Pull the ends of the chenille wire even.
At 2 1/2 inches from the end, twist the two wires together.
Break off the excess wire.
Bend the twisted wire ends over to one side.
Evenly space the ribbon around the chenille.
Adjust the wire and ribbon to form a circular wreath shape.
Insert the 1/4-inch ribbon through the middle of the Golden Ribbon Wreath Ornament.
Pull the ends of the ribbon even.
Tie a knot near the ends to form the ribbon hanging loop.
Trim the ends of the ribbon at an angle.
The Golden Ribbon Wreath Ornament is finished and ready to hang on display.
