The Steps for How to Make the Easy Christmas Crafts: Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree:

Print the Easy Christmas Crafts Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree Pattern.

Cut out each of the shapes.

Place and pin the shapes to the felt.

Position the pattern pieces to maximize the leftover felt for other projects.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 1 cut out pattern
Cut around each of the shapes.

Use one point of the scissors to make a small hole in the middle of each piece of felt.

The hole should be just large enough to push the chenille wire through the felt. (Those are pins in the picture - not cuts in the felt.)
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 2 cut out shapes
Cut four pieces from the drinking straw.

1 at 1-inch long
1 at 3/4-inch
1 at 5/8-inch
1 at 3/8-inch

Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 3 cut pieces of straw
Make a loop in one end of the chenille wire.

Wrap the wire around two fingers and bend the end securely around the base wire.

Make sure the prickly point is tucked away.

Note: This ornament was made to hang. If you prefer an ornament that can stand on its own, make the base loop larger.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 4 make circle in one end of wire
Thread the end of the chenille wire through the largest piece of felt.

Add the largest piece of straw next.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 5 add largest felt piece to wire
Continue adding the felt and straw pieces in descending size order. The top will be the smallest piece of felt.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 6 add remaining pieces in descending order
Thread the gold bead on top of the last piece of felt.

Wrap the remaining chenille wire around your finger to make a loop.

Hide the end of the wire to keep the sharp point from sticking fingers.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 7 add bead and top wire loop
Thread the ribbon through the top loop.

Tie a knot to secure the ribbon.

Cut the ends of the ribbon at an angle if desired.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 8 add ribbon loop
The little Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree is finished and is attractive (I think) with its fun and whimsical shape and bare of any embellishments.
Felt and Chenille Wire Christmas Tree step 9 hang simple decoration
But, it's also a clean slate for any fun decorations that you want to add.

The decorations below are simply the "holes" from yellow and silver paper glued on each of the tree's branches.

Some jewelry, such as earrings or necklaces, could add some fun ornaments and garlands to the simple little tree.
