Easy Christmas Crafts: Felt Squares Christmas Tree

The idea for this Felt Squares Christmas Tree came from an ornament seen in a Christmas Shop. Theirs used fewer layers of thicker felt and was more vertical.

Take a look at this fun little free-standing Christmas tree with its lots and lots of "limbs."

Easy Christmas Crafts: Felt Squares Christmas Tree Materials and Tools:

  • 4 or 5 pieces of green craft felt
  • Cardboard or other stiff board
  • Pom poms - small for the "ornaments" and a larger one (1/2 to 1-inch) for the topper
  • Glue
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

The cutting is much easier if you have a rotary cutter, clear cutting ruler and self-healing mat.
