The Steps for How to Make the Easy Christmas Crafts: Construction Paper Triangles Christmas Tree:

Print the Easy Christmas Crafts Construction Paper Triangles Christmas Tree pattern. Cut around the pattern shapes - the triangle and the star size you prefer. I used the largest star shape.

Cut six green triangles, one brown triangle and one yellow star.

If you want to make a larger tree, make larger equilateral triangles. You can find larger star patterns on the Easy Paper Crafts Five Point Star page.

With the hole punch, make holes in each of the pieces.

Four of the green triangles have holes in each point.

Two of the green triangles have holes in only two points.

The brown base has holes in the points of the longest edge.

For the star, place a hole near one of the inner points.

Cut eight pieces of yarn. Each piece measures four inches long.
Easy Christmas Crafts Construction Paper Triangles Christmas Tree step 5 cut pieces of yarn
Begin at the bottom of the tree.

Place the brown base over two overlapping green triangles.

Thread the yarn through the two green pieces and the one brown piece.

Tie a loose knit in the yarn.

Continue with the second set of holes in the bottom of the tree.

Overlap the remaining triangles in the tree, and tie loose knots in the yarn.

Notice the top of the middle triangle in the bottom row has two yarns. One yarn is tied on the left and one on the right. The two yarns keep that triangle centered.

Cut a twelve-inch piece of yarn for the remaining two holes.

This yarn will also form the hanging loop for the Easy Christmas Crafts Construction Paper Triangles Christmas Tree.
