Paper, 20 or 24-pound
Yarn
Scissors
Glue
Hole Punch (or sharp object to make hole for yarn)

The Steps for How to Make the Easy Paper Crafts: Cut Paper Square Ornament:
Print the Cut Paper Square Ornament Pattern on the paper color of your choice.
Cut around the outer edge of one of the squares.
Fold the square in half along the diagonal with the gray square lines on the outside.
Fold such that the gray lines touch on the folded edge.
Cut on the gray lines starting at the folded edge.
Cut just to the end of each gray line.
Cut out the innermost square and discard.
Open the square and flatten the folds by bending them backwards slightly.
Start with the innermost square.
Place glue on one of the points and overlap the opposite point to connect the two corners of the square.
It helps if you press the corners of the square around your finger as you glue the points.
The innermost square is the most difficult. The rest are easy.
Turn the square over.
Overlap the points of the next square and glue.
Continue gluing the squares alternating back and forth until all the squares are joined at their points.
Make a small hole 1/2 inch from one endpoint of the ornament.
Cut a piece of yarn 10 to 12 inches long.
Insert one end of the yarn through the hole.
Bring the ends together and tie a knot to form the hanging loop.
Trim any excess yarn.
