The Christmas Tree Gift Tag is a fun and easy project that adds a personal touch to gifts of the season.

Paper - I used scrap card stock, but regular paper would work just as well
Pom-poms, buttons or sequins (nine of tree color, one of base color and one of topper color)
Yarn (optional)

Take a look at the simple materials and tools. The pom-poms are half-inch.
The Steps for How to Make the Easy Christmas Crafts: Christmas Tree Gift Tag:
Measure and cut a rectangular piece of paper six inches by three and a half inches (6 x 3 1/2).
Fold the paper in half to form a three-inch by three-and-a-half-inch card.
On the front of the card measure and lightly mark the vertical center.
Using the vertical line, test the position of the pom-poms deciding where to place the bottom, top and rows to form the tree.
Begin gluing the pom-poms starting with the longest row with two on either side of the vertical center.
Glue the second row of pom-poms.
Finish gluing the rest of the pom-poms with the top and bottom pom-poms added last.
The next couple of steps are optional if you want to tie the tag.
Measure and cut a piece of yarn 10-12 inches long.

Punch a hole in the upper left corner of the front of the card.
Thread the yarn through the hole, pull the ends together and tie a knot.

Add a message inside the card with the To: and From: areas.
The Christmas Tree Gift Tag using pom-poms is finished and ready to add to a gift.
Using the same steps, this example was made with buttons. The green buttons are half-inch. The red bottom and yellow topper buttons are slightly different in size simply because that's what was in my stash.
Here's a version made with 10mm round cup sequins.
This sequin version used 8 mm round cup sequins.
Just fun, use different colors of paper and pom-poms, buttons or sequins to mix and match with your wrapping paper and/or to the recipient.
